Our 5th Story Stroll - “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt”

MWS held its 5th Story Stroll in November. Parent volunteers brought the story “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” by Michael Rosen and Illustrated by Helen Oxenbury to life with beautifully designed story boards and props. We make our Story Stroll a very active literacy activity, reinforced by reading the story in the classroom before experiencing it outdoors. The children love hearing and seeing the story presented in different ways, and they are able to share the story with their families as well. We also raffled off a selection of books illustrated by Helen Oxenbury to one of our lucky students…congratulations to Michael R.!
